dæmon things
disclaimer:
i do things a very specific way, according to the rules of the Dæmon Forums, because that's where i hang out and i have the most fun doing it that way, which means i'm not going to be loosey goosey about it, i'm gonna look at the animal behaviors and translate them into people behaviors and not involve mythology and stuff like that.
so if u don't wanna be that strict, i am not your person, but i am willing to help be a sounding board anyway and i can suggest off-the-wall animals that most people won't think of.
but if you're still on board, fill out the following and leave it here on this post for me or send it to me in a PP or reply to my one plurk:

Emilia is resourceful, cynical, sarcastic, a book nerd. she takes care of herself before her family, her family before her friends, and her friends before any other loyalties. she enjoys raining on parades and mocking the weak but without a touchstone of positive human contact she quickly spirals off into rage and depression.
what do they value
knowledge, because it's power. power, because it's safety. safety, because she had none of it as a child.
what stresses them
being alone, the idea of failure, people underestimating her, misogyny, others being handled gently by the world when they don't deserve it.
specifics:
introvert.
loyal and exclusively social with like two people. openly hostile to everyone else.
assertive. she refuses to be treated less well than she thinks she deserves, but at least she has a realistic idea of what that is.
self-sufficient from a young age, very independent. she can work within social structures but they chafe.
minimally expressive. she tries to be sarcastic as much as possible.
she is always planning and backup-planning and ready to improvise/escape if things go south. i'd call her thought patterns sort of scientific-theoretical in shape mixed with wary cornered animal. (she was mostly raised by books?)
emilia is all about survival by any means. she will take every opportunity and squeeze the most she possibly can out of it, even if it's unpleasant work or she has to burn bridges to do it.
emilia is hesitant to commit fully to projects unless she sees a clear benefit in it for herself. she will poke at the solution from every possible angle if she has enough time before choosing the one that makes the result optimal and uses the least resources to get there.
things to consider:
emilia would love to manipulate people but she rarely has the patience to figure them out.
if forced to work in groups, she will do exactly what is requested of her, no more, and keep her head down. hell no she doesn't want to lead the group or draw attention to herself. tall poppy rule, my friend.
emilia is constantly trying to take in information that could help her from anywhere she can find it, but prefers to read things in precise, studied form like a textbook would present it. all laid out neatly and pre-tested for accuracy.
i'd compare the way she processes information to some kind of incomprehensible filing system. she knows where everything is and how it relates to the other stuff (she learned magic on her own, which is very mathematical/chemical) but the way it makes sense to her is sort of odd and twisted and she probably wouldn't be able to explain it.
on moral issues, emilia is very flexible. on issues that benefit her personally, she is stubborn as fuck.
honesty is take-it-or-leave it for emilia. whatever works better.
emilia prefers to plan rather than be impulsive but also believes no plan survives contact with reality. she ends up improvising more often than not, but she isn't impulsive with her goals and desires.

Here's what my personal notes looked like.
from jamie
FIRST, in general: compassionate, self-critical, slow to open up but absolutely loyal once trust is earned, insightful, enduring, hard working
what do they value: morality, bravery, loved ones
what stresses them: fear of failure, of not being good enough, friends/family being in danger
specifics:
ambivert?
socially flexible?
calmly assertive - not going to pick a fight unless she feels /seriously/ wronged, but she's not going to be a doormat either
independent, but not in the 'lone wolf' kind of way - she can stand on her own two feet and she'd like to use that to help people, if that makes sense
middling in expressiveness? not super stoic - though she's obvs seen some shit that will make her close off if it's brought up - but she's also not jumping around smiling or crying openly or whatever
linear thought process
very adaptable/resourceful - was required for survival during timeskip - her core values will always stay the same though
creates a detailed plan with room to change as the situation does, FRETS OVER ANXIETY OF POTENTIAL FAILURE AND LETTING PEOPLE DOWN, buckles down and does the thing regardless - not satisfied with pure delegation; she'll generally desire some amount of control despite fears (blame not having much control during the timeskip)
things to consider:
prefers honesty over manipulation
will try to peacefully coexist with others unless they go against her core moral values - will promote working together and has a tendency to fall into leadership positions
a solid INFJ when it comes to taking in and processing information
EXTREMELY STUBBORN but in a patient way when it comes to her core values - she's willing to see and go with other options if they prove more effective and do not compromise those beliefs
tries not to outright lie, but she'll hold information back if she feels it might hurt someone she cares about
a planner, generally, but stressful situations can cloud her judgement and make her more impulsive

Relatedly, arctic fox has the opposite problem: the one trait that's off with them is that they are the opposite of assertive.
Those are the two closest fits so far. I'm gonna still be looking, but I wanted to throw these your way to see if you think either of them are actually usable!
ETA: Gray foxes seem to be a middle-ground?

plus I can imagine a little red keaton following her around ok no--swiggity swen it's emilia's mun again (last voyages-edition arthas)
Arthas values power, loyalty, victory, and the courage to do what is necessary even when it is unpleasant.
He is stressed by being dismissed as less than completely competent and in control. He HATES to lose. It infuriates him. He also has problems with loss of control due to a complicated history I won't get into. Mind control should be punishable by death in his opinion.
specifics:
extrovert. even when he's alone he talks to himself out loud. i doubt he's had more than a day completely alone in his life.
Arthas would say he doesn't have friends so much as allies. He's willing to interact with just about anyone, even those "beneath" him. People actually trusting him is very alarming and confusing and he'll wait for the other shoe to drop.
Aggressive, enough that it's a detriment to himself and everyone around him.
He will act on his own, always, and if people are following him then GOOD. because he is right. always.
Arthas expresses almost every negative emotion as anger and vents it all over the place everywhere with no regard for collateral damage. Positive emotions get sort of stuck and won't be expressed nearly as clearly.
He thinks in straight lines. He'll make a snap decision based on the most obvious course of action and charge ahead with it. He actually finds lateral thinking extremely difficult and threads where someone asks him to solve riddles usually end up with him being hilariously literal until he gets frustrated and punches somebody.
Arthas is not adaptable in that it is very very hard (it will take years) to get him to change a pre-conceived notion that he has. He'll rely on past experience to solve problems, a lot. Very stubborn.
With a project, Arthas is obsessive to the neglect of everything else. I love this trope for him. This is perfect.
things to consider:
arthas tries to manipulate people but is not very smart. he's only successful when people think in the exact same way that he does, which is very rare. theory of mind game too weak.
arthas will rebel against any group he is not the leader of. if he IS the leader he will protect every member of his group and get them to the goal even if he has to burn down heaven and hell.
arthas is fairly oblivious, and won't learn new things without being taught them in a hands-on manner. on the other hand, you only have to teach him something once. if he decides it works well, he'll stick to it forever.
arthas' information processing is a strict black-and-white hierarchy of immutable facts and priorities. even his opinions are facts. if he knows what he wants, the fact that he should have it couldn't be more obvious, in his opinion. his conscious logic is extremely straightforward, but his emotional subconscious is actually in control. he will make the logic fit the emotion, not the other way around.
whatever the maximum possible amount of stubbornness is that is the kind of stubbornness he has.
arthas is bizarrely honest. even when he lies, he has already convinced himself that what he's saying is true, so it's fine.
arthas is completely unable to plan. he is garbage.
